The case of the Telegram robot Maloubat was opened in court

The Telegram bot Miloubat’s case was opened in court.

After more than two years of complaints from several music companies about the Miloubit Telegram channel and the Miloubat music bot, Branch 16 of the Culture and Media Prosecutor’s Office in Tehran, following lengthy investigations, has summoned the managers of this media for prosecution.

Hossein Shahrokhi, the lawyer for the plaintiffs in this case, explained the legal process of this complaint and according to the decision issued by the Branch 16 of the Culture and Media Prosecutor’s Office in Tehran, the summons for prosecution has been issued and announced. Currently, due to the confidentiality of documents and investigations, we are unable to provide further information.

According to Billboard, it seems that the pursuit of music companies to assert their material and moral rights in their works and the issue of intellectual property of music works in Iran, and protecting them, has intensified with this case and the involvement of the judicial system.
