The Guardian Council has approved the validity of the second round of elections.
Hadi Tahan Nazif stated in a television interview that the review of the election’s validity by the Guardian Council concluded an hour ago, confirming the validity of the second round of the 14th presidential election.
He continued that this matter has been officially announced to the Ministry of Interior as the executor of the elections.
The spokesperson of the Guardian Council stated that we had contacts and follow-ups with the election candidates who did not present any violations or complaints to us. Also, we did not receive any significant reports from the people that could have an impact on the election results. Therefore, based on our reviews, the validity of the elections has been confirmed by the Guardian Council.
According to this report, the credentials of Masoud Pezeshkian, the elected president, will also be prepared by the members of the Guardian Council and sent to the Leader’s office for the execution of the presidential order.
