The Minister of Guidance stated that films without a license will not be allowed to be sent to international festivals.

Ismaeili, the Minister of Culture and Guidance, said in the program Jahanara that from the beginning I stood firm and said we do not allow public screening and sending films to international festivals before obtaining a distribution license. Of course, some used to do this before and even received praise for it.

He added that recently two or three cases of filming without a license have taken place, which some authorities are complaining about, but it was done under supervision, even taking action behind the scenes.

Ismaeili said in a recent case, I said that this film has crossed all the red lines and I also gave orders for action.
