The chairman of Persepolis Club’s board of directors, Dravish, has no intention of resigning.
Hossein Shahrivar commented on the recent events regarding Reza Dravish, the CEO of Persepolis Club, in the Premier League football program. He mentioned that every success has its consequences, and they target those who are moving fast, especially when the train is moving at high speed. Mr. Dravish did not intend to insult the good people of Gilan in that interview. From the personality I know, he was not seeking such a matter, he made a verbal mistake for a moment, and of course, he apologized.
The chairman of Persepolis Club’s board of directors regarding the Ethics Committee’s ruling on Dravish and his 20-day suspension until the final verdict stated, ‘We currently have no opinion on this matter until we convene the board meeting and examine the issues.’
Regarding whether it would have been better not to pit the managers of Esteghlal and Persepolis against each other in the Premier League program, he said, ‘I have no opinion on this matter. We are investigating our own affairs thoroughly.’
Shahrivar, about the recent rumor that Dravish is expected to be removed from his position, said, ‘There is absolutely no such thing, and such a thing is not possible.’
