Ukraine seizes Russian grain-carrying ship

Seizure of a Russian grain-carrying ship by Ukraine

Ukraine seized a grain-carrying ship that was moving from the Crimea region, controlled by Russia, towards the Middle East.

Ukrainian security services claimed that the ship, named ‘Oscow Mefo’ with a flag of Cameroon, was working for Russia and exporting grains to the Middle East.

The claim is made by Kyiv that this ship has been detained multiple times since last year in the port of Sevastopol in Crimea to receive several tons of looted products.
