A court in the United States sentenced Iran and Syria to pay $191 million

A court in the United States has accused Iran and Syria of being involved in the killing of an American in Palestine and sentenced them to pay $191 million.

The United States District Court for the District of Columbia claimed on Thursday that the family of a person named Ari Fuld is entitled to receive compensation from Iran and Syria due to these countries’ support for Hamas.

It is alleged that Fuld was killed in 2018 with a cold weapon by one of Hamas’s operatives.

Fox News reported that neither Iran nor Syria sent their legal representatives to the court session, and therefore, the ruling was issued in absentia.
