According to an Iranian official, 617 people have been killed in Norooz accidents

According to an Iranian official, 617 people have been killed in Nowruz accidents.

Colonel Ahmad Shirani announced that 506 accidents have been recorded on Iranian roads from February 20 to March 30.

He stated that most of the accidents occurred in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

One of the deadliest accidents happened on Friday on the Jandagh-Moallemabad road in Semnan, where 9 occupants of two vehicles were killed. The sole survivor of this incident is a five-year-old child.
