Addiction and Corruption of a Manager at Jam Petrochemical

Details of a new corruption case in the petrochemical sector have been obtained by the Iran Gate News Agency. This case pertains to Mojtaba Mousavi Hesari, the financial deputy of Jam Petrochemical, which is owned by the Ministry of Labor and the National Pension Fund. Apart from his extensive financial corruption record, he has been sentenced to 3 years in prison and 35 lashes for the charge of carrying methamphetamine. The important and noteworthy point is that despite his corruption case and multiple economic offenses, as well as a definite conviction for drug trafficking, he still occupies a managerial position in one of the country’s economic enterprises due to special support. The judiciary and oversight system should not turn a blind eye to such misconduct and should question why such corrupt individuals still hold sensitive managerial positions. Saeed Aghenji, a journalist in the field of economic corruption and editor-in-chief of Iran Gate News Agency, tweeted to Mr. Ejei, as the head of the judiciary, and Zolghadr, as the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, urging them not to abandon the path initiated by Ali Larijani in combating the corrupt mafia due to the pressure from the corruption mafia.
