Addition of the word Pelé as an adjective to the Brazilian dictionary

A Brazilian dictionary has added the word Pelé, reminiscent of the name of one of the greatest football players in the world, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, to its collection of words, but as an adjective to describe someone who is exceptionally incomparable and unique.

The Portuguese dictionary Michaelis announced in its statement on Wednesday that this decision was made after a campaign and the collection of over 125,000 signatures in favor, with the aim of honoring this renowned Brazilian player.
