Agricultural Commission Member: Dollar Price Will Reach Up to 100,000 Tomans

A member of the Parliament’s Agricultural Commission predicts that the dollar price will reach up to 100,000 tomans.

Zabihollah Izadpanah Sardoui, a member of the Parliament’s Agricultural Commission, stated that there have been many meetings between the government and the parliament during this period, but in reality, these meetings have not yielded any results. What exists must be seen on the people’s table. Each representative spoke in the meeting, and the President, who is in charge, orders the responsible bodies to refrain from creating inflation.

I hope we reach a rationality where when the heads of the branches sit and issue orders, they implement them. We are witnessing a dollar that has become uncontrollable and has crossed the threshold of 64,000 tomans. I think it could reach 80,000 tomans by the end of the year, and in a pessimistic scenario, it could even reach 100,000 tomans. We all expect the government to act because all of this is in the hands of the government. In this regard, the government has also not passed many laws, such as the housing market boom and support for knowledge-based companies, which are parts that the government should implement.
