Three thousand people with respiratory problems have been referred to medical centers

The Deputy Director of Treatment at Jondishapur Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences stated that due to air pollution, three thousand people have been referred to medical centers with respiratory problems.

Today, Masoud Moazami, the Deputy Director of Treatment at Jondishapur Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences, stated in a press conference that from the beginning of the week until Wednesday, more than three thousand people have visited hospitals and medical centers of this university due to respiratory and cardiac problems.

He added that yesterday, more than 650 people also visited medical centers in the cities under the coverage of Jondishapur Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences.

The Deputy Director of Treatment at Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences, referring to the readiness of the provincial health and treatment facilities to provide services to the citizens, continued, urging citizens to avoid being outdoors as much as possible during air pollution and to close doors and windows. Additionally, patients with respiratory diseases should take their medications on time.
