Ejei to the representatives: Don’t tell me what to do or not to do
Ahmad Alirezabeighi, the representative of Tabriz, in a closed session with the head of the judiciary, discussed the representatives’ demands from the judiciary. Naturally, some representatives, whose background goes back to the 227 signatories of the letter related to intensifying punishments and actions against rioters and those responsible for recent incidents, had requests from the head of the judiciary, asking for more severe measures in dealing with these issues.
Mr. Ejei, in response to the call for harsher actions, stated that matters should be addressed with consideration and precision.
Mr. Ejei’s request from the representatives was that you should ask me to enforce the law, meaning you representatives should insist on the legal stance and not try to dictate to me what I should or should not do.
