Al Jazeera: The U.S. is increasing its military presence around Iran

Al Jazeera reported, citing an American official, that three aircraft carriers and two amphibious groups will be stationed around Iran by the end of November.

According to this official, the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, along with its combat group, has left the San Diego base heading for the Middle East.

The Makin Island amphibious group, along with more than two thousand U.S. Marines, has also headed to the region.

This American official claimed that the increase in troops and equipment in the Middle East will provide more military options for the country’s commanders.
