Ali Akbar Salehi: We do not grant citizenship to foreign elites in Iran.

The Deputy President of the Academy of Sciences: Not only do we encourage elites to leave the country, but we also do not grant citizenship to foreign immigrants from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan who are interested in staying in Iran.

If we cannot retain Iranian elites in the country, at least we should facilitate the arrival of elites from other countries to come to Iran.
