Ali Bagheri, the Director General of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Interior during the reformist government, does not recognize even a single real protester.

The Director General of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Interior during the reformist government has not found a distinction between protesters and rioters in the real world, and does not recognize even a single real protester.

Ali Bagheri told the Jamaran reporter that the government has repeatedly stated in recent years during protests that occurred, that there should be a distinction between protest and riot, and protesters should be allowed to express themselves.

However, in practice, I do not see a single real protester whom the authorities recognize as a protester and grant them rights, and actually implement these rights.

A number of reformist parties requested permission for a peaceful assembly, but now nearly two months have passed since this request, and it has not been answered. Meanwhile, last week the Minister of Interior responded by saying that some reformist parties have legal issues and have not held a general assembly yet. Is this a valid argument?

So, because they have not held a general assembly, you want to deprive them of their rights? According to you, a few parties have this issue, so why don’t you allow those who do not have this issue to proceed?
