Ali Motahari prevented a female artist from playing the drum because of the thick nail polish on her nails.

Ali Motahari, who is mostly known as one of the defenders of compulsory hijab, claimed that a female artist was excluded from performing at the anniversary ceremony of Morteza Motahari due to objections from several women to the thick nail polish applied by the musician, but of course, it was not pleasant.

In a note on his Telegram channel about a video that had been widely circulated and criticized in recent days, Ali Motahari wrote that during a program commemorating Ayatollah Motahari, the museum director had arranged for a female drum player and a male flute player. When these two took their places, some of the women objected to the thick nail polish of the female musician. Without consulting me, the museum director replaced the male flute player, who was a colleague and mentor to the female drum player, and of course, it was not pleasant.

Motahari further mentioned that the protesting women eventually apologized to the female musician.
