Alireza Dabir, the head of the Wrestling Federation, claimed on the Bermuda program on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting that after his outstanding performance in the World Championships, John Smith, the American wrestling legend, came to his room and offered him residency in the U.S. He jokingly and in a VIP manner took care of his fingerprinting, and three months later his green card was issued.
