The newsletter of AmirKabir University is currently investigating the new phase of suppressing students at AmirKabir.

The AmirKabir newsletter has informed in a Telegram post that the recent meeting of the university’s board of trustees discussed the new phase of suppressing students.

This newsletter states that this phase, titled ‘Educational Conditions Plan for Student Activists’, is under review. It is mentioned that the academic files of more than 100 student activists have been examined, and they have been expelled unofficially for several terms due to disciplinary committee rulings on issues such as completion of academic years and mandatory educational leave.

This newsletter states that this incident has previously occurred for other student activists, including Majid Tavakoli. In 2009, he was expelled from the university with three conditional terms and a zero GPA.
