HRANA News Agency: The Ministry of Intelligence announced in a statement the arrest of 13 individuals on espionage charges in the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Yazd, West Azerbaijan, and Golestan.

Although combating espionage is not considered a violation of human rights, given the Iranian government’s history of using this charge as a tool against political opponents, such claims, especially when details and the judicial process are unclear, are always viewed with skepticism.
