In the past year, as much has been done for women and families as in four years of previous governments

Ansieh Khazali, Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, stated in an interview with IRNA

In the past year, as much has been done for women and families as in four years of previous governments, and I say this with evidence. I have mentioned that I am ready to challenge and make comparisons in this area. Many of the missions from the Sixth Plan that were abandoned or progressing slowly have been activated and accelerated, and many of the inactions of the previous government are being rectified.

Among these activities, we can mention the allocated funds for 31 provinces, efforts to implement previous resolutions, activating ministries in the area of women and family, activating mandatory resolutions in the country’s engineering map and the Sixth Plan around the comprehensive program for women heads of households, as well as the program for drafting the family consultation charter and the comprehensive statistics program for women and families.
