Around 42,000 Ukrainians are registered as missing.
Since the beginning of the war with Russia, around 42,000 people in Ukraine have gone missing. This figure has been recently announced by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, while at least 650,000 Russian citizens have permanently relocated abroad since the start of the war.
The missing Ukrainians include civilians and soldiers who participated in defending their country against Russia.
The Ukrainian state news agency, citing data from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv, reported that the number of missing persons had even reached 51,000 in recent months, but this figure has decreased.
It has been said that three thousand people have been found alive and around four thousand bodies have been discovered.
