Arab countries condemned Iran’s attacks at the Riyadh meeting and called for their immediate cessation.
After their foreign ministers’ meeting in Riyadh, Arab countries issued a joint statement reacting to Iran’s attacks.
Representatives from Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other regional countries attended the meeting.
In the joint statement, these countries condemned Iran’s deliberate attacks on residential areas, civilian infrastructure, and diplomatic sites, emphasizing that these actions cannot be justified under any pretext.
They also referred to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, reaffirming the right to self-defense, and called on Iran to immediately stop its attacks and adhere to international laws and the principles of good neighborliness.
The statement also urged Iran to refrain from any actions or threats to close the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, the Arab countries condemned Israel’s attack on Lebanon and its expansionist policies in the region.
