Araghchi: Iran is ready to negotiate with the United States but is not in a hurry

Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, in an interview with France 24, mentioned that Tehran is still ready to negotiate with the United States. He stated that the United States does not have a genuine interest in negotiation, but Tehran is not in a hurry and will wait until the U.S. is ready for real negotiations.

Regarding Israel and the 12-day war, he said that Iran emerged victorious from this conflict.

In this interview, Araghchi also referred to the exchange of French prisoners Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris with an Iranian citizen, which is expected to take place in the next month or two.
