Araqchi: Displaying the drone in London was a propaganda move against Iran
Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, in response to the display of a drone attributed to the Islamic Republic in the British Parliament, described this action as a staged and regrettable scene, which he said was designed by the Israeli lobby and its supporters.
Last week, a model of the Iranian drone Shahed-136 was displayed in the British Parliament, a drone that, according to London, has been used in Russian attacks in Ukraine. The purpose of displaying this drone was stated to draw attention to the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supplying arms to Russia.
Araqchi wrote in a Polish-language post that the display of a drone wrongly and maliciously attributed to Iran was a regrettable scene directed by the Israeli lobby and its sponsors.
He wrote that the enemies of friendly relations between Iran and Europe, including the relations between Iran and Poland, are attempting to create false narratives that do not reflect the historical ties between the two sides.
Araqchi concluded by emphasizing that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains ready for working dialogues and the exchange of documents to clarify the facts, especially in the face of what he called this futile and illogical display.
