Araghchi set off for Kyrgyzstan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization foreign ministers’ meeting

Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, departed for Kyrgyzstan on Thursday evening to attend the foreign ministers’ meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member countries

This meeting will be held on Saturday, July 24th, in the city of Cholpon-Ata and is considered the last political meeting at the foreign ministers’ level before the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit

Araghchi is expected to clarify the positions of the Islamic Republic at this meeting and have bilateral meetings with several foreign ministers of member countries and other participating officials on the sidelines
