Araqchi: The meeting with Putin was long and very positive

The Iranian Foreign Minister announced that extensive discussions with the Russian President about the war, bilateral relations, and regional developments have taken place.

Abbas Araqchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister, stated after meeting with Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, that the meeting lasted more than an hour and a half and was very good.

He said that in this meeting, various topics, including bilateral relations, regional developments, and the recent war, were thoroughly examined, and ideas for expanding cooperation were proposed.

Araqchi also pointed out the level of relations between Tehran and Moscow and emphasized that there are suitable grounds for developing cooperation between the two countries, and Iran emphasizes continuing the strategic partnership with Russia.

The Iranian Foreign Minister added that the Russian President praised the resilience of the Iranian people against pressures, and Tehran has also appreciated Moscow’s support during the war.
