Armenia recognized the State of Palestine

Armenia has announced that from today, Friday, July 21, it recognizes the independent State of Palestine.

In a statement released by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the country emphasized its commitment to resolving the Middle East conflict based on the establishment of an independent State of Palestine alongside Israel.

The statement mentioned that the two-state solution is the only way to establish a lasting and comprehensive peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Armenia once again called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and described the humanitarian situation there as catastrophic.
