Armenia’s Prime Minister says Russia has not yet delivered Armenia’s weapons
Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, states that Russia has not yet delivered the weapons for which Armenia has paid.
Mr. Pashinyan said on November 23 that he has invited Russia for talks on this matter to resolve the issue in a friendly atmosphere.
He also added that, considering Moscow’s war with Ukraine, he understands that Russia itself needs weapons in these circumstances.
The Prime Minister of Armenia also emphasized, referring to the bilateral agreement between Armenia and Russia, that no steps should be taken towards interfering in internal affairs and destabilizing the political situation of his country.
Relations between Russia and Armenia have soured in recent months, and the Armenian Prime Minister accused Moscow of not supporting his country in its conflict with its long-standing rival Azerbaijan over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
