Associated Press: The Islamic Republic has likely conducted an unannounced missile test in Semnan.

While all United Nations sanctions against the Islamic Republic are set to be reinstated on Saturday, it seems Tehran has no intention of compromising with the world.

The Associated Press has reported that the Islamic Republic likely conducted an unannounced missile test last week at the Khomeini Space Center in Semnan province. According to this report, the test was conducted on a platform that has previously been the site of significant launches in the Islamic Republic’s space program.

The missile program of the Islamic Republic is one of the contentious issues of the Islamic government, and the reinstatement of Security Council sanctions will also include the government’s missile program.

Last week, after reports and videos emerged of smoke and a luminous object being observed in the skies of several Iranian provinces, including Golestan, Semnan, Razavi Khorasan, South Khorasan, and Isfahan, government officials confirmed that this matter was related to a missile test.

The Islamic Republic has not officially confirmed this launch, but Mohsen Zanganeh, a member of parliament, said in a television interview that the Islamic Republic has tested an intercontinental ballistic missile.
