Associated Press satellite images show the destruction of a radar dome at a U.S. base in an Iranian attack on Qatar.

Satellite images analyzed by the Associated Press reveal that in the Iranian attack on the U.S. Al Udeid base in Qatar, a radar dome used for secure communications was targeted and destroyed.

According to these images, burn marks and damage are visible on the dome, and this communication device was completely destroyed after the attack.

The attack on the Al Udeid airbase outside Doha, the capital of Qatar, was in response to U.S. attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities and was interpreted as a retaliatory action by the Islamic Republic.

This attack also led to the establishment of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which was mediated by President Donald Trump and ended the 12-day war between the two countries.

Satellite images from Planet Labs PBC show that the communication dome at the Al Udeid airbase was visible on the morning of June 23, several hours before the attack.
