They don’t even give liquid soap to the prisoners in Lakan.
Atena Daemi, a human rights activist and former political prisoner of Lakan Prison in Rasht, tweeted about the situation in this prison.
For a year in Lakan, I tried everything, went on hunger strike, was deprived of phone calls and visits to at least provide the basics for the prisoners there, and I did. But now that I am free, everything has returned to the previous state; they don’t even give liquid soap, and the prisoners are forced to grate and use bar soap.
