Axios: America is nearing the brink of a broad conflict with Iran

According to a report by Axios, Trump’s advisors have met with Abbas Araghchi in Geneva. Although both sides have announced that the negotiations have made progress, American sources have reported ongoing serious gaps. JD Vance, in an interview with Fox News, stated that the talks have progressed well in some respects, but Iran has not yet accepted the red lines set by the President, and diplomacy may have reached its natural conclusion.

Axios also reports an unprecedented strengthening of the US military presence in the region, from the deployment of two aircraft carriers and about a dozen warships to the dispatch of hundreds of fighter jets and a massive transfer of weapons with over 150 military flights. According to this media outlet, if the negotiations fail, the likely scenario would be a joint and wide-ranging operation lasting several weeks.
