Ayatollah Khamenei says that America’s hostility towards Iran has nothing to do with the occupation of the embassy.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic has stated on the occasion of the 13th of Aban that America’s hostility towards Iran has nothing to do with the occupation of the American embassy, and this is a big lie.
He described America’s hostility towards Iran as historical during a meeting with students, and said that ten months after the victory of the 13th of Aban Revolution in 1979, the students seized the American embassy and exposed its hidden secrets and documents. This blow to America was the honor of the Iranian nation.
Mr. Khamenei has said that the documents obtained from the embassy, which now amount to 8070 volumes, show that from the very early days after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the American embassy has been a center of conspiracy and espionage against Iran.
