Baqaei: Iran-U.S. negotiations postponed at Oman’s suggestion

Following the confirmation of the postponement of the fourth round of talks between Tehran and Washington, Ismail Baqaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, announced on Thursday that the delay in the discussions was suggested by the Foreign Minister of Oman, and information about a potential new date will be provided later.

Previously, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, announced in a message on X that the fourth round of negotiations between Tehran and Washington was postponed due to logistical reasons.

The fourth round of negotiations was scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 3, in Rome, the capital of Italy.
