Baqaei: The other side has come to negotiate with a drawn sword.
Ismail Baqaei, the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, in response to calls for negotiation, said that one cannot solely rely on dialogue when the other side has entered with threats and pressure.
He said, they say go and talk, but the other side has come with a drawn sword, not to say let’s make peace.
Baqaei added that in such circumstances, one must stand firm until the other side becomes weary and lays down their sword, and then engage in dialogue.
