Barzani confirmed mediating between Iran and the United States
Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, confirmed his role in mediating between Iran and the United States and said that the reports published on this subject are largely accurate. He also emphasized that the region has informed the opposition parties of the Islamic Republic that it will not allow any armed attacks against Iran. Barzani added that Iran is our neighbor, and this war is not our war. The Kurdistan Region will not be a place for initiating threats against Iran.
