Haddad-Adel said Iran was known for its literature before its oil.
The head of the Saadi Foundation stated that Persian literature is one of Iran’s main cultural assets. He said that before people recognized Iran for its oil or politics, many from various lands knew our country for its literature. The works of Saadi, Hafez, Rumi, and Ferdowsi have been translated into multiple languages for centuries and continue to inspire people worldwide.
Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel mentioned that the Saadi Foundation and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization are two branches growing from a single trunk. Their collaboration has reached a logical and purposeful level today, resulting in synergy in the expansion of the Persian language and the promotion of Iranian culture globally.
