The Biden administration is confident about the JCPOA
John Kirby, the spokesperson and public affairs director for the U.S. National Security Council, addressed multiple questions in an interview with Fox News regarding Israel’s concerns and criticisms from anti-Iranian JCPOA critics. He defended the JCPOA, identifying Trump’s withdrawal from the agreement as the main issue. While acknowledging that he understands Israeli concerns and that the Biden administration is engaging with them, he stated that controlling the nuclear program through the JCPOA framework is the best solution to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
