Biden Netanyahu may seek to continue the war in Gaza for political reasons

Biden has suggested that Netanyahu may want to continue the war in Gaza for political reasons.

As negotiations continue over Biden’s new plan to end the crisis in Gaza, the US President has stated in interviews with Time magazine that Benjamin Netanyahu may want to continue the war in Gaza for political reasons.

In this interview, which was conducted just a few days before the presentation of the new plan by the US President to end the war in Gaza and was published on Tuesday, June 15, Biden, when asked whether he thinks the Israeli Prime Minister is prolonging the war for political reasons, emphasized that he does not comment on this himself and continued by saying that there are many reasons for people to come to this conclusion.

Although polls in Israel show that the majority of people support continuing the war, they hold the Prime Minister responsible for security failures in the past eight months, and widespread street protests have turned into a weekly event in Israel, drawing tens of thousands of people.
