Biden says Arab countries are ready for the first time to fully recognize Israel

Joe Biden, the President of the United States, said at a campaign rally on Thursday that Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries are ready to fully recognize Israel

He repeatedly called for a post-Gaza plan for Israel and proposed moving towards a two-state solution

These statements reflect Biden’s growing willingness to publicly urge Israel to increase efforts to protect Palestinian civilians in Gaza

Biden also said, ‘I will not go into details right now, but look, I have spoken with the Saudis and all other Arab countries, including Egypt, Jordan, and Qatar. They are ready for the first time to fully recognize Israel’

He continued, ‘But there must be a post-Gaza plan, and there must be a train moving towards a two-state solution. This plan doesn’t necessarily have to happen today, but there must be progress, and I think we can achieve that’
