Bloomberg: Eleven Iranian oil tankers have been detained in Malaysia

Bloomberg data indicates that about 11 U.S.-sanctioned oil tankers carrying Iranian oil have been detained near the shores of Malaysia or are moving at a very slow speed.

According to this report, some of these tankers have been in this area for over a month.

These tankers collectively carry nearly 17 million barrels of oil and have remained in an eastern region of Malaysia that is typically a site for ship-to-ship oil transfers.

This situation could be a sign of a slowdown in the logistical process of exporting sensitive Iranian oil to China.
