Brazil is embarking on a new path

Lula da Silva, the elected president of Brazil who has returned to this position after winning the presidential elections, is announcing his desired policies step by step, and there are serious hopes for a change in the country’s domestic and international political course.

Brazil is one of the most important countries in the Americas and a vital player in the international economy and trade, with the supply of many goods and foodstuffs dependent on it.

On the other hand, one of the most significant issues that has put Brazil on the world stage is the Amazon rainforest, which are the lungs of the planet. Deforestation and excessive destruction in the Amazon during Bolsonaro’s era, alongside Brazil’s near cessation of cooperation with international organizations on combating climate change, had raised serious concerns.

Now, Lula da Silva is in the process of bringing Brazil back to the forefront of the fight against climate change and is reviving his country’s commitments to protect the Amazon. Most importantly, he has announced that he wants to make Brazil and the Amazon the host of a major summit for combating climate change in the coming years.
