Bukan went on strike on the fortieth day of the killed
Coinciding with the fortieth day of the killed, Bukan’s market and shops remained closed under conditions reported as completely secure. Military forces blocked people’s access to the cemetery.
Security forces killed 37 people in Bukan in the last week of November.
Images and videos published from this city on social networks show that the market is entirely shut down.
These videos, reportedly dated December 25th, indicate that all shops and the market in this city are closed.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network, by releasing a video, wrote that the merchants and shopkeepers of this city are in a complete strike.
