CBS News: The Trump administration is considering transferring or removing Iran’s nuclear materials.

Several sources have told CBS News, BBC’s news partner in the United States, that Donald Trump’s administration is exploring ways to secure or remove Iran’s nuclear materials.

According to two sources, these plans have focused on the possibility of deploying forces from the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command, an elite unit in the U.S. military that is usually tasked with carrying out highly sensitive operations.

Another source has also said that Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision on executing such an operation.

The White House spokesperson has also informed CBS that preparing for such scenarios falls within the responsibilities of the Pentagon.
