Chinese Foreign Minister: The Russia-Ukraine war has become uncontrollable
Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang on Tuesday expressed concern over the continuation of the war in Ukraine and warned that this military conflict has intensified and even become uncontrollable.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also called for promoting negotiations to stop the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine. Beijing officially declared neutrality at the beginning of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine but urged the international community to consider Moscow’s security concerns. Nevertheless, China has so far emphasized the need to respect the sovereignty of all countries, including Ukraine.
Referring to the delivery of weapons by Western countries to Ukraine, the Chinese Foreign Minister said, ‘We ask these countries to stop pouring gasoline on the fire as soon as possible and not to blame China.’
