A Kuwaiti newspaper’s claim: Amir Abdollahian on the verge of impeachment

Al-Jarida Kuwait claimed in a report that a number of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, due to dissatisfaction with the performance of the Foreign Ministry, have begun collecting signatures to impeach Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister.

An Iranian parliament member emphasized that a number of representatives from the principlist faction in the parliament, stating that the performance of Iran’s Foreign Ministry has damaged the country’s pride and reduced its value in international forums, have started collecting signatures to impeach Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister.

Additionally, Josep Borrell, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, has stated that Iran is ready to forgo all its previous conditions in exchange for the U.S. retracting all its previous conditions and everyone returning to the nuclear agreement.
