CNN: The Iran war has eroded the Republicans’ advantage in national security.

CNN reported that Donald Trump’s actions, especially in the war with Iran, have severely weakened the Republicans’ traditional advantage in national security.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, 37% of Americans believe Democrats are better suited to handle war, foreign conflicts, and terrorism, while 36% prefer Republicans.

This is despite the fact that Republicans were 11 points ahead of Democrats in this area after the 2024 elections.
