Collapse of the Ilka Group in the Ministry of Oil

Following the investigation of the case of Heshmat Ilka, the alias of Hamed Izadi, the head of the Ministry of Oil’s Security Organization, by Iran Gate news agency, oversight bodies have now entered the case, and with a direct order from the president, members of the Ilka family were removed from the board of directors of the Persian Gulf Holding.

Keyvan Ilka was a member of the Persian Gulf board and had caused numerous controversies and suspicions. Today, Keyvan Ilka was removed from his position on the Persian Gulf board.

Additionally, due to Hamed Izadi’s insistence, Heshmat Ilka’s cousin, Ammar Ilka, who is a lawyer, had signed many legal cases of petrochemical companies under his own legal institute’s name. Ammar has received legal fees amounting to several tens of billions, and the process of reviewing his performance and how he got involved in the legal cases under the Ministry of Oil’s purview is also under investigation.

Reports indicate that over the past year, Ammar Ilka’s law office has become a hub for visits by oil and petrochemical managers and a place for lobbying and behind-the-scenes dealings. Iran Gate’s investigations show that most managers in the country’s oil industry have handed over their legal and judicial cases to the legal team and institute associated with Ammar Ilka, Hamed Izadi’s cousin, despite having legal managers.
