The commander of the Revolutionary Guards for the protection of nuclear sites: The country’s nuclear sites are completely secure.
Ahmad Haqtalab, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards for the protection and security of Iran’s nuclear sites, has stated that we are prepared to counter any threat from Israel, and the country’s nuclear sites are secure.
Mr. Haqtalab has also warned that a potential Israeli attack on nuclear sites could change Iran’s nuclear policy.
He said if Israel wants to use the threat of attacking our country’s nuclear sites as a tool to pressure Iran, reconsideration of the nuclear doctrine and policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran and deviation from previously announced considerations is likely and conceivable.
Iran’s official stance has always been that the country’s nuclear program is entirely peaceful, and changing this policy could lead to a move towards nuclear weapons.
According to the public relations of the Revolutionary Guards, Mr. Haqtalab said regarding the possibility of Israeli retaliation after an Iranian attack, these threats are not new, and Israel has previously carried out sabotage and terrorist actions in the field of Iran’s nuclear industry.
