Bita Haghani, a 22-year-old blogger and student from Sari, was arrested on October 18 and has been accused of ‘corruption on earth’ without a trial.

Bita spent 20 days in solitary confinement at the Sari IRGC intelligence and is currently in Qaem Shahr prison. Her family has not been allowed to visit her, and Bita has been deprived of the right to choose a lawyer, with a court-appointed attorney assigned to her.
